Inventory tracking
Keep stock counts, reorder targets, supplier notes, and running totals in one operating sheet.
Cells gives operators a focused place to track inventory, plan work, and check the numbers that change before a process deserves a full system.
Built for operators
Cells is for the working files that sit between a note and a database: structured enough to trust, light enough to change.
01
Create, rename, open, and delete saved workbooks without waiting on a heavy backend path.
02
Use familiar cell references and range formulas for inventory, plans, budgets, and checks.
03
Move by keyboard, edit in-cell or from the formula bar, and keep the active cell in view.
04
Apply alignment, bold, and italic controls so operating sheets stay scannable under pressure.
Product proof
Edit cells, move the selection, change formatting, and watch formulas recompute in the same engine used by the workbook surface.
Common workflows
Cells is strongest when the workflow is too important for a loose doc, but still changing too fast for a rigid tool.
Keep stock counts, reorder targets, supplier notes, and running totals in one operating sheet.
Lay out owners, dates, status, and blockers before a workflow needs a full project system.
Draft budgets, margin checks, and lightweight forecasts with formulas that stay visible.
Questions
Cells is a workbook app for operating workflows: inventory checks, team plans, budgets, audits, and other sheets that need structure without a heavy system.
The homepage conversion path is a free account. Signup is the primary place to start a workspace.
Current workbooks are local-first and persist in the browser through IndexedDB-backed storage. Each account gets its own storage, so accounts sharing a browser never see each other's workbooks. Nothing syncs yet: your workbooks stay on the device you created them on.
AI workbook help is coming soon. Today, the product proof is the live workbook surface: cells, formulas, formatting, and saved workbooks.
